Hello everyone, recently I responded to a post about mouth breathing and recommending a user to do research about mewing(proper tongue placement with tongue on roof of mouth to support stability of skull and facial muscles/bones) and I remembered the Kechari Mundra whuch involves placing the tongue on the roof of the mouth.

Looking through posts I found some from magestein, but, I also know that magesteins posts were reviewed by maxine and cobra before being published to remove any harmful or misinformation as stated here - Re: Why are there still posts from mageson?

Now, looking through the posts I found mentioning the Kechari Mundra, these posts from mageson come about.

Reiki Truth
The Enemy Corruption In Kundalini Yoga
The Confusion And Corruption Of Eastern Teachings

Now, the issue I'm having is that there's not a clear description of it, in one of the posts it mentions the tip of the tongue being behind the teeth which would be different from mewing(tongue against the entire roof of mouth) but in others it simply says to have the tongue against the roof of mouth.

In one of the posts it mentions that the tongue is placed in the same way as the "Chi Gong method of the micro cosmic" but upon looking for diagrams or examples of the tongue placement I was unable to find any examples.

As such, I am posting to ask for clarification from knowledgeable members, thank you for your time.

He could not clarify because he stole and didn't knew anything he talked about.

You place your tongue right where the flesh of your inner mouth meet with the two front teeth, the tip feeling the upper gum and the teeth as well. With the tip of the tongue there you rest the "body" of the tongue on the upper palate.

In the approximation of the gum covering the two front teeth, when the powerful rising of energy opens the nadis and activate the chakra, a vibration starts there. Usually by the Serpent.

This vibration is left-right and then refines in a up-down motion. This vibration can be amplified extremely and it is very physical in nature. This is something highly mystical, and powerful. You can expand this vibration outside of you. If you resonate it at a specific rate, this Serpentine vibration can influence matter.

Kechari is used to encourage this path, being also a natural way of being and also will help not lose your teeth when this vibration ensures. The pressure also helps a safe opening and pouring of energies in the head, a balanced way of meditation. The words are safe and healthy.

The tongue is also very important in meditation and can help you visit places in astral or experience heightened states of being with the above.

I'll reveal an advanced technique here. In the last position of the Basic Spinal Series, you can perform the Kechari Mudra and focus on either the pineal gland or the Kundalini Activation spot which is the middle of the nose.

As you perform the Kapalbhati hold the Khechari Mudra throughput ,intense heat will be generated in the sushuma within 2- 3 minutes. Perform the root lock. Then use the abdomen to transfer the heat up the spine as you would do with the complete Yogic breath (while holding the root lock) the end of which would result in the navel lock.

Drop your chin to your chest which will complete the neck lock. These four locks consistitute the Maha Bandha. Focus on the intense heat on the chosen spots for a couple of seconds ,then exhale and release the lock.

If you're focusing on the Pineal Gland in this technique, the Pineal Gland will secrete a very pleasant substance which you can taste in your mouth. It might not happen immediately and might happen periodically in 2 - 3 days as you do it everyday.

The Pineal secretion is extremely pleasurable. However the Kundalini Activation spot is for the purpose of clearing out the sushuma and raising the Kundalini. So be careful to not overestimate it if you are new and cannot handle the energy. You might be overestimated and fry yourself.

As a beginner you should start by focusing on the Pineal gland. And after a couple of months when you feel you can handle the energy of the Kundalini you can go to the sushuma Activation spot.

Sorry if it's a dumb question but where is the middle of the nose for this working? Bridge if the nose, tip of the nose(I.e. the button) or somewhere else?

Also this requires at least 2-3 minutes of constant breath of fire to see results?

Lastly, does the hand position change from the normal one or do we keep it the same?

Thank you.

I don't know if I can describe it with accuracy but it's between the two nostrils. If you concentrate there you'll surely find it. I don't know which article describes it. But there was definitely one that did.

It doesn't have to be 2 - 3 minutes. That's just what it took me to generate the Kundalini heat. Maybe you will have a different result.

The hand position is as shown in the last position of the Basic Spinal Series over the head.
