Lunar Chants
What are the best chants/words of power for invoking lunar energy (other than the planetary square)?

Re: Lunar Chants
Vibrating CHANDRA during the waxing lunar phase. From the new moon to full.
Then, do not do it during the wanning phase.
This is the one way I have tried. Are you trying to use lunar energy for working on your soul/body? If so, you can do it via foundation meditation? Remember how we are using foundation meditation to absorb the white-gold energy? Do it same, just absorb the energy from the Moon instead. It would be best if you could do this outside, when the Moon is high up in the sky. But, indoors works, too.
Same as above applies, do it during the waxing phase, and full moon. Stop when the moon is wanning.
There might be a rune which is connected with the Moon, I haven't looked into that. Like SOWILO is connected with the Sun.

You can just use the Moon mantra for 40 times or less or more, if you want something short you can use Shrim or Somaya. There are a lot of mantra for the planets, do what feel best for you, for example i can't really vibrate the CH so i would use Aum Somaya Nama/Svaha if i do the square or only Aum Somaya if i want to use it without the square.CuriousCat wrote:What are the best chants/words of power for invoking lunar energy (other than the planetary square)?
Re: Lunar Chants
The rune Bjarkan has feminine lunar energies.
You can do a 40 day working with Bjarkan and affirmations.
You can also draw lunar energy same as drawing energy from any planet or star

Thank you all so much for your responses thus far!
If I wanted to use a Hindu chant (so that would either be Shreem, Somaya, or Chandray/Chandramase) to invoke lunar energy into my aura to get a more lunar vibe to other people in social settings, should I use swaha or namah?

You don't have to use Nama or Svaha, they are used for the square's mainly and the mantras work even without them. And Nama is used for material workings while Svaha for spiritual workings.CuriousCat wrote:Thank you all so much for your responses thus far!

• Nama is used to stabilise the energies of a working. It is very common in all layers or Sanskrit mantras from the earliest Vedic texts.
• Svaha is used to further energise mantras with fire, adding more Shakti to them.
So, according to him, Nama stabilises the energies, while Svaha increases them/stimulates them more.

Thanks for this, i remember reading it in the book, the only thing that i don't understand is what stabilise the energy is for? I mean why use it if with Svaha i can make the energy more powerful?Stormblood wrote:According to David Frawley (Vamadeva Shastri):CuriousCat wrote:Thank you all so much for your responses thus far!

Maybe Nama is more used to make a working manifest in the material world and this is why it stabilise the energy?

Yeah, I think stabilise is meant as to ground it in the material realm.luis wrote:Thanks for this, i remember reading it in the book, the only thing that i don't understand is what stabilise the energy is for?
