A Mantra from Thoth

I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with this mantra "Zin-Uru"
It is from Thoth's Emerald Tablets. Below is an excerpt directly from the Tablets.


“Knew I then that in Words are power to open the planes that are hidden from man.
Aye, that even in Words lies hidden the key that will open above and below
Hark ye, now man, this word I leave with thee.
Use it and ye shall find power in its sound.
Say ye the word: 'ZIN-URU'
and power ye shall find.
Yet must ye understand that man is of Light and Light is of man."


I have used "THOTH" as a mantra in the past, empowering the 6th chakra and its extensions. This deity means a lot to me and has been very significant to my spiritual journey. I would appreciate any information or clarity on this.

Zin appears to relate to Greek, Zin, which means Life. Uru, appears to relate to Uraeus, the Serpent, and therefore life.

This is why also the 3rd eye, is called the Opener, because it opens one to the Astral, and other worlds.

The above is not surely properly translated, but in essence, this is what this would allude to.
