I wanted to ask if the mars square could be used towards a serious transformation in lifestyle to achieve my goals. Or is that Jupiter ?
If someone has any knowledge on this matter could you please suggest any other possible techniques for this kind of working.

Well, I think the most adequate square for your aim is actually the Saturn one. I did it in the past and it worked really well. However, Saturn has energies which can be really hard to handle and if you decide to do a Saturn square, it's necessary you increase your vibrations with power meditations such as the EZ spinning or the Merkaba. Some people don't feel comfortable to use Saturn energies and it's absolutely justifiable.
However, now Saturn is retrograde, so I advice you not to do its square, as the energies are undoubtedly too negative right now.
I think Jupiter is not the most adequate neither. Mars neither. You can do a Sun square, but if I were you, I would simply program my aura with energy and good affirmations.
