it is a mosaic found and preserved in Sicily in the "Villa del casale", archaeologists date it around the 4th century AD. It represents Ulysses who brings wine to Polyphemus. As you can see, the cyclops does not have an eye only as they have always taught us, it has three. This is not only the result of randomness, looking for other archaeological artifacts I found this mosaic from Cordoba in Spain:

All these finds represent a cyclops with three eyes.
A personal consideration of the greek name Cyclops: it is made up of κύκλος + οψ [kyklos + ops].
Ops means eye.
Kyklos means circle but also wheel, so it has the same translations that the term Chakra has translated from Sanskrit.
