sun square and sun mantra

Can i use aum suryae nama square [ sun square]
and the mantra of sun for protection as well?
I mean the mantra is aum suryae nama and the sun mantra is simple SURYAE.
IF i start the sun square i could use the sun mantra too or not ? because idk if i can use the enery of sun for 2 porpouses

I have used both SURYAE and did a Sun square for different purposes and still had success. You will be fine as long as you don't do multiple Sun squares at the same time.

It's better to focus fully on the sun square in this case. But I'm going by my intuition, so I might be wrong. But the squares seem to be sensitive to the specific set of numbers.

Then again maybe SURYAE is a mantra all by itself and the Mantra for the Sun Square is as a whole unique since it's several mantras in one. I have in the past stopped vibrating "AUM SURYAE"x9 daily to focus solely on a Sun Square I was working on and this proved to be successful with no drops in my energies.

So try what you feel could work for you and experiment in this case, unless someone else can add their input and add some clarity on what you can do in this situation.
