Deceit

Hello comrades,

I wanted to ask if anybody has any potential advice or solutions to a dilemma I am facing.

In the workplace, a co-worker tricked me into saying I was “offering him a gift”. Since I said that to him, I have felt colder, as if he took something of mine. I have noticed that his peers talk to him differently now too, as if he is doing “magic” and has something of value.
He is acting as if it was a “donation” but it was quite the opposite.

As a younger comrade who is learning the way, is there anything I can do to get back what belongs to me. I need the heat back, if that makes sense.

The coldness is probably an emotional response to figuring out that you've been tricked.
