Basic Arguments With Christians And How To Win Them

I planned on writing a topic about some classic arguments with ´Not so lost` Christians who can still be saved from their dark path. Who use logic to choose their religion, but dont just see their failure in using it with christianity.

Well for 1. What IS the meaning of Christianity? To enjoy life? To make a future for your children? To better yourself and the Universe? To attain the form of living FOREVER(to snot suffer of any disease or plague, not grow old etc etc)? NO. Its to atone for your sins. Through ALL your life. From your birth, to your death. (The best way of winning an argument over a religion who the other one belongs to, is to use the roots of the said religions(Meaning, Origins(the holy book of the religion)etc) as your weapons. You can post your own examples of arguments with christians for others to use.)

In most cases is not working that easy because xians do not care about what others think about their beliefs. You show them the facts in their face and in the end they will say "Everybody believe what they want" and "You have to respect others beliefs". You have won the argument by bringing more logical and well documented proofs but the xian you are talking to is not interested into questioning these matters.

But one thing is clear. One cannot convince a xian to question his religious beliefs only in a few minutes, unless they are already doubting them. A lot of xians start to question their beliefs themselves when they see that they are hopeless and the judeo-xian god is not helping them despite their prayings, others doubt the existence of their god when they see all kind of bad things happening despite of god loving everybody, others start questioning after they read the bible. Anyway it takes time. What we can do is to stimulate them to think, but not to the point that we start wasting hours to convince them. Is not worth it, unless it happens in a place with a lot of users so others can see your arguments and the links you post towards JoS.
