Pendulum tips and advice?

So I recently bought a pendulum and my gf who is naturally psychic told me she couldnt feel any energy from it. So my question to all who have alot of experience with one is what should I do to increase the accuracy of one? I was also told by a very close SS friend of mine to always keep it close to my skin in the beginning as to establish a good connection with it, take every answer with a grain of salt and to always wrap it in silk as to not let any of the energies escape. When i first crafted my pendulum off of two old necklaces I used as a child. I still had to go through and consecrate my pendulum to get it to work more properly though so that could be your problem since you purchased it. You could try putting your elbow down while holding your pendulum helps a lot to, if you don't do it already. Also I noticed that using my other hand directly under the pendulum with the palm up gives it a lot more energy as well. I kind of do the telekinesis meditation when i do it that way directing energy from the hand holding the pendulum and the hand underneath it.

Im not against pendulum but the amount of time and energy you will be putting into this working, you could be using on your chakras instead. Having to depend on objects it will only delay advancements .

I agree, using a pendulum on its own isn't as good as opening your chakra's to have a conversation with gods and spirits. Though having one was sure useful when I started, and I use it from time to time on answers that I need to be a little more concrete.

Thank you for giving me that insight as I will be taking both of yours advice. I will focus more on my personal evolution and just use the pendulum to hone in on specific answers I may need from time to time.
