Silver is reputed to be a insurance in the myth and legends against what were considered Vampires. This could pertain to jews, who are like ticks in many ways. I will illustrate the common elements between the two below.

Silver in itself is an allegory. Silver is the metal ascribed to the Moon in spiritual alchemy.
