It appears that it's possible that the fires are just put by the usual bastard filth in order to build more crap that nobody needs on the Amazon. Probably some fatty wants to build something on the land there.

The destruction of the environment is just devastating. As was mentioned, the gods will help us at some point in the future but it is saddening. These destructions of the enviroment cause chain reactions that worl to destroy the ecosystem and put it out of balance. It is very bad.
