Everyday Satanic symbols and respect

Post by HailVictory88 »

I have a question that's been bothering me for a while,
Obviously Satanic symbols should always be treated with respect and should not be thrown in the trash, left on the ground, etc. My question is, what about symbols that are technically Satanic in nature, but in a less direct way? This time of year I see tons of wrapping paper with images of Santa on it and similar things, and I wasn't sure what type of treatment these less direct Satanic symbols warranted.

I don't think Satan would take offense for tossing out wrapping paper with Santa Claus on it. It's extremely unlikely they were manufactured with him in mind... sadly.

Symbols themselves such as the inverted cross or the pentagram are inert by themselves without any kind of influence on the gods as they are just that, symbols... with meaning of course, but still. When it comes to Sigils however, these are essentially an 'imprint' of that specific demon or god, and therein lies the disrespect if treated improperly.

The best you can do with wrapping paper if you really do want to be respectful is to recycle it, so long as it doesn't have any metal, glitters or what have you on it.

Thanks for your reply, I try of course to honor Satanic symbols, but there are a lot of symbols out there that, while originally Satanic, probably aren't quite the same.
