A Poem for Abigor/Eligos/Eligor.

Abigor, II.

The sunlight glints off your armor
Which reflects in the raven-like
Blue-black shade of your hair.

Daylight and the rich silence of the night
Are both the same to you,
Where you wage war from the shadows.

The sunset creates long shards of dimness
Where your army sits, poised
To strike at a moment’s notice.

Your spear and sword,
Sharpened and deadly,
Like the brilliant miniature Star
In each of your eyes.

Watching every moment:
Ruthless, shrewd, cunning,
Is sewn into every fiber of your being.

There is no comparison;
You are the speed and essence of War.

To watch you move in battle
Is to watch you move more gracefully
Than a king cobra striking and gliding.

I cannot tear my eyes away from you.

You live for the dance and the structure;
Symphony of the fight itself,
Where you are War’s greatest serialist.

You have no doubt that you have won,
Even before the clashing games
Of destruction and death
Have begun.

You hold the tides in your hand,
Where you turn all situations
To your advantage.

Abigor, Eligos, Eligor:
Bloodshed, strife and enmity
Is the lifeblood
That courses through your veins.

You were born of this,
Forged in the fire
You have become a weapon
Of contention and conflict.

I praise you in hymns of combat
Bowing my head to your expertise
And mastery over all of
The arts of War.

I really enjoyed as well. There’s cinema and drama in your poems. I feel like strong visuals come in while I read and there’s feelings there. Especially inspiring feelings. No critique at all, just fine poetry.

What a beautiful poem! I really wanna read all of those you write! :)
Quando la Dea delle sventure mi abbracciò e spesso minacciò di schiacciarmi, la volontà di resistere crebbe, e infine quella volontà fu vittoriosa.

When the Goddess of trouble embraced me and often threatened to crush me, the will to resist grew, and at last that will was victorious.
