Is ravana a mantra that can be vibrated? I was going to try myself and I did but only a little bit. But I want to ask here first in case it's something negative or if someone knows it has no power and I'd be wasting my time.

I felt strongly about it for awhile. Brushed it off like it's just my imagination. But the urge came back. I decided to ask here first in case anyone knows better.

A simple search would say. I really don't know the answer to this though.

So it is a name of some guy, and this guy might be bad or good?

Either way, I am not seeing anything that would make this be useful for anything. I am not seeing that this is a mantra. It just looks like a name.

And if it is a mantra, what would it do? If it is not even clear if it is good or bad. And there is nothing to say what it would do. So you should hope that it is not a mantra, otherwise it would give some completely unexpected and unknown results.

I really don't know I am not about to mess around with this stuff and find out. Many of the Hindu Sanskrit names do various things though. It really isn't clear if he's referring to just this name or some mantra associated with it. The way the question is worded it could be both. Either way not messing with something that is completely unclear. There are things to suggest this could be both bad and good here in that article at least.

He was very much dedicated to Shiva, who is Satan.

Ravana name was given to him by Shiva. He is a fictitious character (must be based on some real entity) from the Hindu epic, Ramayana.

He was immortal. He had 10 heads. Nobody could kill him. There was only one way to kill by attacking on his NAVEL. The protagonist of the epic killed him that way.

Everything about this guy is full of allegories.

You should give it a read, perhaps a summary.

The end of this epic shows the union of the Soul through a devotee of Lord Rama (the protagonist of the epic).

Ramayana is full of allegories. There is just too much of it. It's an another epic in Hindu culture about the transformation of the Soul.

Mahabharata is the another. Both epics are simply about soul transformation, idk which comes first in the process of soul transformation.

Both are very interesting indeed, if you are smart enough and kind of advanced you will be able to decode tons of spiritual allegories in these two epics and maybe help us Know about them too then.
