Spiritual attainment is like a project. First you need the canvas and the drawing tools, or to get a job to buy the pottery wheel, clay and kiln... Maybe you don't have a job, so you need to gain some training and skills first, long before you can be a decent pottery maker. Sometimes, we just need to practice and see, no matter how long it takes. Most people don't bother giving things an actual proper, decent try, and they quit too quickly.

I said on the other forum ages ago that it was a big coincidence that one of the first church things I attended, before leaving it and finding this, was about controlling one's own mind. When I did Satanic Void Meditation, to be able to control my own thoughts, in less than 40 days I had an unexpected positive result along with it. I didn't intend for this to happen, but it also helped me with visualisation. Yeah, it could be a big, huge, massive, ginormous, humongous coincidence that that happened with me...and with another member...and with other results which have worked with other members who actually tried properly and didn't quit...or maybe they could all be many coincidences with all of us who just so coincidentally just happen to be using the same Satanic meditations... or it could be real in actuality. Satan is not an all-powerful person. That doesn't exist. It is possible, albeit extremely improbable, that one could rise up from their first life and birth to be more powerful than Satan. At that point, would it be this new God's God who is responsible, even though he or she never existed when you were battling problems? Saying it is someone else's problem and responsibility and that they are the one to blame is relying on someone else. It is possible that others can work on your Soul on your behalf, but then that would put you in league with the holier-than-thou, self-righteous aristocrats who think that they can employ someone to sit on the toilet seat to keep it warm for them should they require the use of going number two on gold potty. Yes, that is/was an actual job role. You know no-one is going to put a dumbell in your hand and make you grip it and lift your arm up and down. To converse regarding the term "god", you should define what you mean by it. There is no such thing as an "all-powerful being". There is hierarchy. As for ridding the Universe of the out-group (that which we decide is evil), that is an eternal cosmic war. If the Universe is endless in size, so technically it doesn't have a "size", then that war will be eternal forever. Will the Universe ever be free from evil? Maybe not, but our side will continue to expand and increase in astronomical 'geography', if you will, and will make a greater portion of things be good. If the evil out-group stayed the fuck away, then it could do what it likes elsewhere, as long as that doesn't include against our own.

Well said, and good analogies. I think I will sit back and watch what happens on the forum, and do additional research myself. There seems to be alot of positive, yet logically focused energy in this community, people genuinely care and go into detail with their thoughts.
