Doing things that can be intimidating on the surface, but are actually doable even though you do not feel like doing them are required to progress in the area of discipline. Examples: taking cold showers, running in the rain for five or ten k (or running in general), going to sleep and waking up early, reading a lot of books, exercising regularly, stopping the usage of social media if you are using it, stopping the usage of other forms of media that release high amounts of dopamine in the brain and so on.
