Hi guys,

Today I will talk about happiness and the simple to understand method to achieve it.
Friedrich Nietzsche, the great philosopher argued that man's purpose is self overcoming.
Man seeks resistance in order to grow. That its not the lack of suffering that creates happiness but in fact embracing the struggles which will help us grow in our skill.

Do you notice how certain people love challenges? How when something difficult arrives, they're not demotivated but actually very pumped up? This could be a physical challenge like a fight or a sports match. Or it could be a mental challenge like an intellectual problem which requires creativity and clever thinking. Also in dating, where the person loves to seduce hard to get people? A challenge, basically. This is because they have learnt to embrace challenges and enjoy the process of overcoming them. This, in core is the process of achieving happiness and fulfillment, gaining achievements, in their chosen domain of expertise.

If its too hard yes, things can be demotivating and stressful, especially if its not a self chosen problem or goal. If someone tells you to solve a math problem but you have 0 interest in maths, then yes, you won't enjoy it. To the avid math enthusiast however, it will be fun.

No one wants to have easy challenges. You don't want to be an adult playing chess against 6 year olds because you'll easily win. That's boring. You don't exert yourself. You need to exert yourself but not overwork.

Now then, that we have realized that challenges and problems are important, how do we choose them? Its simple. Nietzsche had four conditions for choosing goals :

  • Firstly, the goal must be meaningful and challenging.
  • Secondly, it must promote the health and wellbeing of ourselves or others or both
  • Thirdly, it must be self chosen and an expression of our authentic inspiration
  • Lastly, it must be conducive to the attainment of personal excellence.

This could include an actor trying to be a better actor, an artist trying to be a better artist or a sprinter trying to improve his 100m timings. Or it could include psychological issues such as a person trying to cure and overcome his OCD. Or an awkward person trying to become a fluent conversationalist and improve his social skills.

Why does this work? Because its all working on the solar chakra and bioelectricity. Remember that its written that people are depressed because of lower bioelectricity? Well that's exactly what you're training here. Willpower through struggle. Happiness. The ability to achieve things with exertion. And after you achieve something after struggle, you become happy. Such a life is without final goal, the only goal is the continual improvement of ourselves.

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Satan
