I'm planning to start practicing iron shirt. Is there anything I should know before I go in, such as potential harmful teachings, or anything I should be wary of.

Unless you plan to do professional fighting for a living, I wouldn't recommend it as if not done the right way, and with a lot of energy control you'll do more harm to your nervous system.

but if you are really set on it, before doing it I would master energy flow in the body, which would take a long time, years. and gain an extreme physique and muscle mind connection.

then slowly, very very slowly, over a decade gradually increase the routine, and make sure that every instance of taking a blow, or training to an area, you direct your energy to the place and reinforce that area with your vril. to the point where you are not taking damage.

also I would do an extreme aura of protections everyday in the range of 216. and do satanic healing every day.

if you are injuring yourself your doing it wrong.

I know a little because I've done something similar to my shins for fighting. my bones are hard but without the nerve damage.

in the end you will still might be damaging your nerves unless you have extreme control over your nervous system with chi/vril control. so focus on the foundations and master these

it also goes without saying to advance your chakras to a certain level before starting.

that's about all the advice I can give you.

the goal is to strengthen the bones and bioelectric defense without damaging your nerves. and you can strengthen the bones to much, as stem cells and bone marrow to create plasma comes from bones.

Hello my brother, i would not do it at all. In my opinion it wont hurt you necessarily but it won’t help you. It is not real qigong and the people in our forums who have done it admit the qigong mantak chia does isnt as beneficial ad yoga. You could use that time for other practices that actually help, and as I have only just recently started my journey into authentic qigong I do not feel comfortable recommending any practices, just recommend you choose other practices like yoga and meditation over it

Iron shirt done right has nothing to do with hitting yourself but with breathing exercises, energy work and specific asanas and kriyas.

Hitting yourself is enemy corruption, so it should be ignored entirely.

That's what you should know. Iron shirt training is a prerequisite for any combat training, and for the majority of strength and endurance exercises. This is because it builds up your joints and other important levels of your body, preventing the massive damage and lifespan shortening most professional athletes and lifters experience.

Thank you.
Do you know the specific program to follow to do iron shirt?

I'll go forward with yoga instead then. Thank you

Damn, I wish I would've gotten these replies when I brought it up weeks ago. Maybe I didn't ask the right question idk. Oh well at least I'm seeing these replies now  buuuut luckily I didn't spent too much time in it so I'm not that salty

Something in me was telling me not to take Iron Shirt too serious as I felt like the yoga, breathing exercises and meditations I've been doing was way more effective. The steps seem overly convoluted as well. Something about it all seemed off but at least not completely off as in dull blown enemy corruption.

Don't plan on being a pro martial artists but I am making it part of my life so that's why I was interested in it in the first place. I'll probably just continue reading through the book over time and see how I feel about it after I that.
