I believe that there are lines that the enemy can't cross when it comes to these sorts of things lest they invite very very disastrous consequences upon themselves.

Even assuming that they are able to affect our family members in anyways, their attack would be at most, to a very severely restricted level. Maybe to the level of pranks or something similar. This is assuming that they are even able to affect our family members.

That said, It is in my own belief that our family members are not only protected from the enemy but also from external circumstances which would have moderately to severely harmed them had they not had a dedicated SS as a family member. This is my own belief and assumption based upon experience after a few years of dedication.

Without AOP noone is protected. If they are protected without it noone would do aop.

The amount of passive protection depends on the individual. By passive I mean your own efforts that are indirectly affecting your close ones (we are connected, and close people are closely connected). Then there is the help from the Gods.

So there is variance in the above, and then you can make an effort with active means, like with runes for example.

But generally, they are less protected than us unless you step in to make an active effort. Then again, those who do not participate in spiritual warfare directly do not necessarily need as much protection effort. Again, variance is present as our circumstances vary.

The value for yourself, for others around you, and Humanity at large is greater when you focus your time and effort first on the final rtr, and only then use magick for protection for those who do not have a clue of the underlying situation of the world. The impact would be greatly more beneficial. But other than that I want to mention that you do not necessarily need to spend a session every day for a protective aura on your loved ones as they are in a side role in this war and as such

Runes such as Algiz and Sowilo are great for protection, but there are other options as well. Remember to evoke instead of invoking the energy for it to be effective for this purpose.
