One Hour - a poem

With Satan, always.
Tomorrow is a dream I fight for
Today, just another passing hour
Filled with a record of memories
Written in the seconds and moments.

I take them for granted
They are fleeting and don't stay
With two of each inside
An internal war between balance and the insane.

Between drowning in the past
Or climbing to the future
I turn to the mirror to help me
Unveil the things I have refused to see.

"She can climb if she has the will to dream."
Mother, would you be proud of me?
Today, is my gem that I polish
Every sunset and sunrise, I do it all again.

A mere hour can carve a hundred days or eternity
I toss a coin to tell me 'heads' or 'tails'
And I keep it for myself to determine the same
If tomorrow I will live again.

All impossibility, every strike of the fence
Living on and on, and fighting on and on
When even the tides swallow me whole
I shall still be here to remember the hour of eternity.

What a beautiful poem! It's motivational and is a clear representation of your resilience.

It's great. I hope we will see more poems about Satanism like that one.

I’d certainly like to write more. My poems kind of just come by inspiration and emotions, which makes them a bit “random” as to what will come through in the poem itself. So at some point given the chances of things, I’ll probably be inspired again for something like that, yes.

Al Jilwah: Chapter IV

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Satan
