They are not the same.
From Vanjunior:
"Pagan Mythology has a lot of occult concepts which can kind of merge Gods in a way, and it can be a bit tricky to understand. In the mystery tradition of Orphism, it was said that Zeus and Hades were the same God. A lot of this is deeper level occult understanding of the myths. There are other examples like Hermaphrodite which is Hermes + Aphrodite, and Hermanubis which is Hermes + Anubis. In Egypt there were many God mergings like Horus-Set also known as Antewy. The myths are incredibly complex with so many layers of understanding."

They're not the same. For example, there are humans named after the gods. For example, Esther, a common woman's name, is based on the Goddess Ishtar. But they're not the same. Azazel and Abaddon aren't the same being but there could be like a family bond. Or for example, the Greek man Apollonius (where most of Jesus' sermons were stolen from him) isn't the same as Apollo. But there is a beautiful relationship between Apollonius and Azazel. If this made any sense.

Per se, yes, but the Babylonians Sumerians and Hindus been naming their daughters after Ishtar in different dialects thousands of years before the Jews ever thought of naming their daughters Esther.
