Some political myths refuse to die despite all evidence the contrary. Here's another:
When White people are no longer a majority, racism will fade and the US "will never be a White country again."[1]

This myth was reinforced recently when the US Census' 2020 report revealed that people who identify as White alone declined for the first time[2] since the Census began in 1790. The majority of Americans under 18 are now people of color, and people who identity as multiracial increased[3] by 276% over the last decade.

These Census figures seemed to validate a common assumption: The US is barreling toward becoming a rainbow nation around 2045, when White people are projected[4] to become a minority.
That year has been depicted as "a countdown to the White apocalypse," and "dreadful"[5] news for White supremacists." Two commentators even predicted[6] the US "White majority will soon disappear forever." It's now taken as a given that the "Browning of America"[7] will lead to the erosion of White supremacy.

I used to believe those predictions. Now I have a different conclusion:
Don't ever underestimate White supremacy's ability to adapt.
The assumption that more racial diversity equals more racial equality is a dangerous myth. Racial diversity can function as a cloaking device, concealing the most powerful forms of White supremacy while giving the appearance of racial progress.
Racism will likely be just as entrenched in a browner America as it is now. It will still be White supremacy, with a tan.

I was going to say that it sounds like a argument the Left would make that racism will always exist as a way to always have a boogie man but honestly I hope they start calling more and more brown and black people "white supremacist" just like they're doing with Larry Elder and Candace Owens. Eventually the evolution of understanding will grow enough that it'll click into people that it was never about the big bad white supremacist but the people pushing these false narratives. Eventually people will see it was just a scapegoat all along.


Also, in an kind of unrelated note, I'm seeing a counter culture growing in the black community. Black men with a lot of followers bashing black men and women for dating whites (yes that includes if theyre dating a good looking white, in case any of those negative nancies want to say otherwise) and then there's people like Kevin Samuels working hard to snap in half the low level thought of many blacks in the ghetto or just ghetto people in general. He's going hard on black women who are acting like that really are "rare blooded queens" when they're a 7 out of 10 at best.

A lot of my Mexican, or Latinos in general, brothers and sisters need to leave this mindset as well and people like Kevin are doing a decent job belong with that. He goes after self entitled men with nothing of value as well.

Now I'll tie it all together and say that I wouldn't be surprised if all these people will labeled "the black or brown faces of white supremacy" in the near future.
