What to do when relapsing during a working?

Hey, my satanic brothers and sisters,

So I've started a working to get rid of porn addiction on the eve of beltane. I just watched porn today and relapsed. Does this mean that the working is weakened or ruined?

What can a person do after relapsing?

When I relapse I feel guilty and think that I messed it all up and that I should give up or something. So I end up relapsing more until I give up.

This is the first time to relapse during this working after a long streak. Is it normal to relapse from time to time as long as you pick yourself back up? Or I should've maintained the streak during the whole working?

What can I do now?

I relapsed because I was so stressed about my mudslime father coming from his travels and couldn't think clearly. No matter what I did I couldn't get erect from normal masturbation with imagination and astral senses. But consistently got thoughts about porn which made me erect. When I thought of porn I had a very fast heart beat and wasn't able to relax or void.

Are you still doing the working? If so, the working is still ongoing. Have faith in the energy and stay strong.

Doing the contrary of what you are trying to change doesn't make it exactly easy, but it doesn't ruin the working or nullify the energy either.

The reaction to porn is just because of the high dopamine response. This is normal when you haven't indulged an addiction in some time, because your tolerance is now low. Don't beat yourself up over, just know to recognize this if it occurs in the future.

Sometimes addictions can take a long time to fix. The important point is to just keep pushing the working until it is done. The eve of beltane wasn't that long ago. Even if the difference is not exactly obvious, that does not mean nothing has happened on the astral. This goes for all workings.

In addition, consider some sort of blocking software for porn. They won't be perfect, but you can also add anything that slips through manually to a blocked list. Eventually it will be nearly impossible to view something you don't want to.

Okay. Thanks for the wonderful advice Blitzkreig!

The working will make sure you start understanding more about the problem, so that you become more conscious of the factors that make you relapse, in this case it's stress. Take this as a lesson. Also, stop feeling guilty after you masturbate with porn, the guilty feeling is unnatural, just try to feel normally, without feelings of harsh judgment, this is also gonna help.

I've noticed that early on in a working, sometimes there's a bit of the opposite effect initially; the problems I'm trying to solve come to the foreground more temporarily. However, if I just keep going, then it swings in the right direction and the problem is usually solved completely afterwards.

So don't worry about it, and just keep doing your best with the working! You'll get there, I'm sure.
Yes I've felt this as well. Lots of filth and bindings come to the surface to be dealt with.

Thank you for the encouragment and advice my friend Meteor!

I've noticed this as well, but I wasn't sure if it was a clear pattern or not. It is interesting.

It doesn't mean this failed because when doing a freeing the soul working the energy comes out and to the forefront and block that is causing this. So you might think about it more. So it could cause you to relapse back into the problem.

Try to find a partner that is suitable for you btw this solves the issue pretty quickly. You won't really be tempted by this anymore that much if at all.

Very normal. Just keep doing the working and go beyond 40 days. As has been stated many times, in addition to any workings one is doing, getting a sex life that leaves you satisfied is one of the best ways to get out of porn.

Bro, you are fine. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

I always thought this like, "Bringing the problems to front and force you to solve them." type of function of the spell. Like spell can't solve the problem if you aren't trying to actively solve it. So it brings the problem to you, once again, and helps you solve it. I am not sure if this is the case but it's a high chance if you ask me.
