True, but it is difficult to print everythign on JoS, even the encyclopedia by itself is overwhelming. I think that electricity can't be easily monopolized and controlled, for anyone can buy an electricity engine and save as much fuel as needed to operate it. Ofc there are other ways of generating electricity.

Get a solar charger. For < $50, you can keep your phone running pretty much forever.

Printing is still better because the enemy can theoretically disable phones remotely, but it's not feasible to print the whole 800+ pages of the JoS plus the thousands of PDFs on Satan's Library. It's also hard to print the MP3s...

If you really want something to rely on, get a Raspberry Pi kit with a touchscreen, and run it off a 5V solar charger. The models without Wi-Fi should be impossible for the enemy to disable with anything other than an EMP.
