Are you sure he is Jewish?

It seems the name derives from the German "Kummel". And that he is of Italian and German, Irish, Welsh descent.

The only Jewish similarity I can see is "Kimmelman/n". And from the other sources it seems "Kimmel" was a Jewish loan / theft from the German one.

He does have the "asiatic eyes" though and a serious nose.
