Hi everyone
I read somewhere that promises we made in past lives can still impact us here right now such as having difficulties with relationships because of a promise made in a former life time. I saw a meditation on this site where you vibrate ansuz 9 times in each chakra, so you breathe in satanic blue fire and vibrate the rune into each chakra while visualizing the chains and links breaking while the chakra becomes a bright satanic blue, then you do an affirmation to break the ties and connections from all enemies of Satan. Is this meditation good enough to help me break these ties, bare in mind I'm still a beginner and I am still busy with the 40 day beginner meditation programme. I feel that a lot of my anxiety and problems are from past lives and are still affecting me now. Thank you in advance for all the advice!

Ansuz, Munka, Visuddhi, Uruz, Raum. Try all of these seperately and see which one feels best for you in this situation. Then make a working out of it and do it daily with an affirmation to accomplish your goal.

That working is for breaking and removing connections to negative people in your life, like psychic vampires.
Munka, Uruz or Ansuz would be better for what you want to do. Check the link below but reduce your reps to 54 or whatever multiple of 9 you can do comfortably. You don't want to feel any strain, tiredness/fatigue, or anything unpleasant.

Perfect thank you for the response! Can I do this meditation anytime of the day reason is because I see it says do it on a waxing moon and I am not sure exactly what this means yet as I'm still new.

Sorry for the late response.
It must be done during a waning moon, not waxing.
Waxing is the moon increasing in light,as it grows from new to full.
Waning is the moon decreasing in light,as it goes from full to new.
If you read the page again you'll see, the one to be done during a waxing moon is for reprogramming the soul to attract money. That is adding something, hence the increasing phase of the moon. To break ties etc you are removing things and that requires the waning moon.

A Saturday or a Sunday are both good days to start, and a good time of day is as the Sun is setting. it also helps to face West. But the moon phase and sign are the most important things to consider. Theses other things just help. Saturday is ruled by Saturn which rules banishing, decay and similar things. Sunday is ruled by the Sun which rules the self and is of the fire element which helps cleansing (burning away the bad stuff). The Sun setting is similar the moon waning and facing west makes use of the Water element which rules dissolving, emotions, the unconscious mind.
