US accused of ’modern piracy’ over mask confiscation
The US has been accused of redirecting 200 000 Germany-bound masks for its own use, in a move dubbed as ’modern piracy’. The local government in Berlin said the shipment of masks made by 3M was ’confiscated’ in Bangkok. The FFP2 masks were ordered by Berlin’s police force. Andreas Geisel, Berlin’s interior minister, said the masks presumably were diverted to the US.

COVID-19 is Making Earth Vibrate Less
