I have been studying up on ectoplasm and apparently it can make you invisible on the astral level if you work with it consistently and surround yourself with it. Can enveloping yourself in ectoplasm serve the same function as the aura. I would think that if your invisible on the astral then you would be impervious to psychic attack since you can’t hit what you can’t see. I was thinking of fusing the ectoplasm meditation with some type of sound meditation.

Grab your Black Book/ Journal and do it. See how it feels to yourself. See what more you could and would like to do with it if you want to. Sounds interesting.

If done correctly, you can make yourself invisible on all levels. Though this is quite advanced.

There's actually a book I've been reading lately that covers this exact topic, though it advises you improve your eyesight first. (Done through void meditation, or focusing on the darkness during void meditation) Then the book pretty much aligns with what the JoS webpage says.

Eventually, after being able to reliably form clouds of ectoplasm, you can start to 'mold and shape' it. The tighter, the better.

It is also advised to spin the particles of the cloud in a counter clockwise motion, so that they compact further. Rather than dispersing.


That's just what I know though, I could be wrong.

Thank you. I like that too but nowadays I limit myself exclusive to books I found very useful, such as Frawley's Mantra Yoga and the Primal Sound.
