Idk why but I can look at a physical object and my eyes move away from it but it's like the aura of the object floats off of it and follows where my eyes look any clue why I'm seeing this

I have wondered if we are standing in the same spot that we were born in all of our lives (i.e., we don't move but everything moves around us), and things are just moving past us, not us past them. We stay in the same spot, etc. Sounds crazy, but that's what it would seem like. The after image is the burn-in on our 'mental screen'.
