If you want to do Mars in another sign try the fire signs but still it's best in home or exalted (Aries Scorpio Capricorn for Mars) I noticed certain planets are better or worse in certain signs even if they were not in exalted or home but it's still better to do them the correct time. Example Sun in Virgo is almost as powerful as Leo it felt like.

You dont need any colored paper or to draw anything out not sure what you are doing with this. With the square you vibrate the Mantra the given number of times for each day. Then state your affirmation a certain amount of times.

That affirmation sounds way too long you want something you can remember most likely. Also this will probably be confusing to the energy too if you put too much into it.

A shorter affirmation would work better where you focus on one specific aspect of Mars that you want. OR you can just say "I am empowering and strengthening my Natal Mars in a positive way for me" this can work if you just want the general energies of Mars.

You dont want to not say an affirmation though even if you just want to generally strengthen your Mars with Nothing specific as energies dissipate if you dont direct them. It will from experience work for a couple weeks then dissipate if you dont do an affirmation. Affirmation can and often does make things permanent that is from experience too.
