Want to Write Music or Do Art? You Can

When I was shoveling into myself I cracked into something and I could feel the heat. I haven't gotten to the bottom, but I must. I must go deeper because I need to get to the source of that heat. It can't supress it any longer or I'll go bats and that's real.
With the power you have, that heats in you too, you just have to dig in to find it, but just know, once you expose it, there's no going back. This may be a bit too analytical, but it's weird, maybe it's because as HP Mageson has said, the universe is a manifestation of numbers, energy and sound. I think that's why music works the way it does. It's math and numbers combined with sound and energy/feelings. Numbers with the tempo and time signatures songs have, sound obviously with the notes, melodies and rythms and energy with the feelings. I'm blown away many times when I'm feeling something and with no left brained thought at all melodies and rythms form and they make so much sense and are so organized and are the direct expression of what I'm feeling inside. Often you'll hear musicians say, "I didn't write the song, the song wrote itself." This is true. That's how it feels. You just let go and then there's something that wasn't there before except really it was there before. It's just energy transferring forms. It's part of your soul transfered into a song. It's beautiful. Almost no thought goes into the songs, they just write themselves, but they form themselves in an organized fashion for the same reason our dna molecules and cells and bodies form in an organized way. It's all numbers and energy.
I know nothing of music theory or scales and chords or song structure. It all happens on its own. Any one can do it. I'm no musician. I just do it anyway. You can too.

You might be no musician but the sample ''just a feeling'' you shared was brief but so mesmerizing!
What you described started happening to me since like a couple months

!
It's so wonderful!

Most of the time it would last few seconds while being awake at work.
( I always Void Meditate, let myself become a sloth, falling within and being all soft everywhere.
Even when I splash boiling oil on myself I remain still and slothzy

)
The other day I was in bed falling asleep and it happened for like a HUGE 30 seconds or so!
It was so intense and there was like a waterfall of different melodies combining.
I wasn't completely awake nor asleep. This experience was so satisfying!!!!
I wish I could listen to songs like this one on a daily basis!

Imagine having that experience with an instrument in your hands. Where that waterfall of sounds wasn't just in your head, but begans to exist in the material world. That's insane. That's where the true satisfaction comes! That's kind of what happened with "A Feeling". If you haven't already, try learning to play something. It seems you have the musical inclination already.
Trust me, it's so worth it and then you can come share your creations here with us. I would love to hear that waterfall of melodies

I personally love playing Harmonica, I never got professional training but I can make some wonderful melodies just by "feeling" the "mood"...

Yes but it takes a lot of practice to put into an instrument what you can create in your mind.
Of course this ''waterfall of melodies'' was like lots of different instruments and even rhythm in it!
I have some basic music theory and I've been playing guitar since 5 years but not so frequently recently.
I use the finger picking technique with all five. Its really fun and cool.
Recently I got into Fl Studio and started practicing creating music a bit which is something I've wanted to do since forever
The other day I created a short song with my guitar at my parents'.
It stayed in my mind and recently I've been able to translate it perfectly as it sounds in real life
into FL Studio.
(To the point the note lengths matches when my finger moves and all

)
**Except that my guitar doesn't sound
exactly the same but it's real close and with steel strings too.
Now I can here it anytime!
Also playing this song is quite harsh and after 4-5 times my hands will be too much in pain to continue playing especially at this Bpm

(But I feel it's the exact Bpm this song
must be played!)
Here it is!

(The quality on Soundcloud sucks though! If you download it the quality will be the original one. ^-^)

I used to have FL Studio but lost it!
Is that the best program in your opinion?
I really want to make some music and spend time on that as a creative outlet when I get some other priorities taken care of. I have an accordion I might learn to play, or maybe not. And I want to learn guitar. I've played bass but was never proficient. Perhaps I will get back to that.
This post has me broadening my horizons and is full of winz.
I know someone that played in a band and never learned music theory just played by ear and feel. And I know others that used theory. Music theory is good too but people don't always need it to enjoy music or play it.
A good example imho is the like metalcore and death core scene that blew up a few years back. It's kinda still going and evolving. Its super complicated but in part it became so big because it was music for everybody that was nobody.
I know here and pretty much everywhere there were kids playing this stuff that knew almost nothing of traditional music theory.
They just felt it out and poured some soul and emotion into things and that was that. The scene gave them basic formula for the style and that formula opened it up to a wide array of people that weren't considering music before.
There is good and bad in this scene. Horrible music too as a side effect of making it available to anyone. But I've also heard music from complete nobody noobs, just kids basically, that was extremely amazing. They just played and felt out the song. So it's possible. We should all make art/music if we are so inclined. Even just notebook doodles can be fun!
However I suspect great musicians like Beethoven and Wagner knew music theory and could school many people making music now. But maybe they started out just goofing around making noise too?
Good music seems to transcend scene/style. For example a good metal song often can be played in a classical style and it sounds just as good. And a good classical style song can also be played in a metal way and sounds very good many times. So it's about creating the core of the piece and then putting flair to it.

@HeilOdin666 - Yeah, I agree with all that you said. With the music theory though, I think it's important to learn. I never have, but I'm making my way towards it. It's like when a basketball player takes 50 shots in practice so when it comes time for the game he doesn't have to think. He just shoots. Same concept, learn the technical side and practice so when it comes time to write you still go to that same state where you're not thinking, it's just coming out, but you can do more. It'll make the difference.

I you want the new FL Studio 12something I can give you the free crack files and all
I totally agree with you about music theory just being a tool. Of course I don't know much about music theory just the basics. But it really helps to articulate what you want to create.
Of course there may be millions of people that are adepts at music theory and know it all but simply create mechanical and vain stuff.. *sigh*
