Most of us use linux and I prefer linux, but some times you need to use an windows application or maybe want to play a game but don't want to be spied on, and it doesn't run well in vitualbox/vmware/proton or have a decent alternative on linux

I was looking for an alternative to the windows build I am using alongside my linux one, one where I deleted all the spyware manually, however after some time the windows tries to repair itself via update even though you delete it's ability to update. then you have to restart the process with a fresh windows, this is really annoying.

I found a premade build that has the windows spyware completely removed all 2GB's, in a more complete and better way than I have done so before. and a tutorial on how to build your own if you want.

for anyone wondering modding builds of windows and sharing them is legal, as long as you use a genuine key that you own. using your own key will be fine since this windows build has all of its telecommunications to microsoft removed, and for safety you can pay for a key with cash at any place that sells it, I still have a key I bought.

I'll be using this along with a privacy focused linux for maximum privacy for the foreseeable future.

privacy focused linux builds are whonix, tails, pureOS, Qubes, kodachi

build and info here https://ameliorated.info/

and here is the wiki on how to build your own

I thought this might come in handy for someone members so I decided to share here.

ventoy is my preferred way of installing iso's as it's never failed me as is faster, where as rufus/etcher/you name it, has failed me in the past.

My next goal is to get a pixel for graphene OS, so I don't have to continuously turn off my phone and put it in another room when I'm about to do something. (yes your phones is always spying on you, lets take some work off the Demons who protect us daily by protecting ourselves to our best ability)

https://grapheneos.org/ is one of the few smartphone android OS that partitions certain parts of the phone away from each other. for example if you put your phone in airplane mode on graphene os you are truly secure from any spying. the only spying you really have to worry about with graphene OS is legacy calls, and texts, mobile data and wifi (through vpn or tor) with dns leak protection will be anonymous, and you have the ability to set the permissions for every single app you have, there is no google on graphene OS.

their FAQ answers a lot, and you might learn somethings like I did from reading it https://grapheneos.org/faq

-----------
windows privacy: https://eraser.heidi.ie/ (makes it so that whatever you delete/clean is actually clean, by rewriting over empty space so that files can't be recovered using undelete utility or disk maintenance )

Stay safe my Satanic Family

Graphene OS and similar "anonymous" android operating systems were actually created by the FBI. And they spy on people even more. It is a way to try to catch criminals by having the criminals let their guard down by thinking they are hidden.

There is no possible way to use any smartphone without being spied on by multiple different people. They all do it. The only thing you can try to do is get older model phones from years ago, which will have less ways of spying than the current phones. An android phone from years ago is better than any iphone. And I would not go anywhere near an iphone or android from a recent year.

I have a possible thing to look into. there is a linux software called Crossover and it allows you to install old windows software on the linux. I have been using a long time and it works rather well , total seemless with linux desktop and puts an icon on the desktop that you use to open the program just like an other software. Costs money however

if you could find some research showing me proof that would be great, it's not that difficult to test incoming and out going packets on devices. using wireshark, I couldn't find anything, I couldn't find anything online of people reporting such either.

grapheneOS wasn't made by the fbi from what i've researched.

there was an operation by fbi that used this OS called arcaneOS in a sting operation.

https://www.xda-developers.com/fbi-backdoor-pixel-arcaneos-anom/

that might be what you are talking about.

Graphene os is unique because the drivers/software in the OS are truly partitioned apart from each other like if you can think of how qubes does its thing, so that when you turn airplane mode on it really and truly does turn off all of the network, and only runs on wifi.

the thing about smartphones tracking you, is because it's a dual operating system, a system you see with your phone os (android) that spies on you, and the sim card os that also always runs in the background that talks to the android, but it seems that graphene os has found a way to seperate them. their android side version doesn't use any spyware, you can check it yourself using wireshark. and the secret os always talking to the OS is partitioned off seperately and can be controlled and turned off.

I might not even put a sim in the new one I want to get, I have an older model I used grapheneos before on and tested it before but lost it, they don't support the 4th generation pixel anymore. so i'll have to get a 5, 6 or 7.

I think the biggest concern is backdoor spyware in hardware, https://www.sysjolt.com/2021/every-modern-computer-has-a-backdoor/

and there is not much you can do about that. Even if you OS it all together you would have to have a chipset that is opensource.

also there are some hardware devices out there like Pine64 or Purism that have kill switches on the motherboard.

I think graphene OS is safer than standard android, and doesn't actively spy on you, however the hardware inside the phone depending on the chipset, if having IME or whatever.

Another thing that is powerful tool, if you have a raspberry pi is using PiHole and if you see anything you are concerned for test by pointing those domains to 0.0.0.0

The issue with using old devices is that security flaws are documenting easily accessible using Metasploit, hypothetical here, but lets say a third part not an agency, hired by whoever, wants your data, you are using an old device with a known backdoor to public then it can be exploited

nothing is perfect, but there are options to make things better at least.

I also think the biggest take away from all of this, is to do your best, then trust in the Gods and not live in fear.

Just make sure that the game you want to play can be played offline and doesn't contain spywares. Genshin Impact, for example, has been exposed more than a time as a CCP's spyware. The safest way to play a game on your PC for me is with an Open Source Emulator.

Are "AME11" and "AME10" the Ameliorated playbooks you're talking about? They are branded as "Absolute privacy" in their website.

I wanna try this approach, I need Windows 10 for too much stuff.

Do you know if the process is something that risks getting my installation broken?

it's always going to be the safest to dual boot, have linux for our related content, and then use ameliorated or a windows you went in and got rid of the telemetry yourself, and still not use it for SS related stuff.

Looks like they rebranded and changed their site and look, so I would be suspicious, and give it time, perhaps look into it if they changed their owner, keep searching the interent for feedback, and stick with wine or AME old version inside a virtual machine or dual boot and be very script about what content you use where.

https://web.archive.org/web/20220219101309/https://ameliorated.info/faq.html

had the option to build yourself https://web.archive.org/web/20220415182006/https://ameliorated.info/

on the older site

https://web.archive.org/web/20220325020112/https://wiki.ameliorated.info/documentation_21H1

I'm gonna remove it from my signature, and only advice I can say is to be smart, follow your instinct be as safe as possible, and the safest thing is to just not use microsoft products at all. However you can probably find an older build of it online somewhere that doesn't have this 'playbook' shit

I'm using it on and off, and so far it doesn't seem like anything bad has come from it, it hasn't reverted to windows, and resintalled its systems like it has for me in the past when using the cybersecurity methods posted on this forum where you go into linux and delete things yourself from windows. this is the only windows that doesn't feel bloated. and starts up instantly. I also always run with a vpn and dns encrypt when i do use the windows as well just as safety measure.

but boycotting windows and going all linux is the way to go for safety 100%

everything else is to be your decision so do your research as much as possible.
