Forum Downtime 24-25/04 - All Good Now

For those who have been aware, there was a few hours of downtime of the forum in a situation due to undergoing updates. Everything is back as it were today, but some got a glimpse of a future version of the forum, which will be updated in due time.

A test run was necessary to see potential issues emerging. I read also some of the feedback posted during this, and it appears some people liked it a lot already. I could see that it made many very happy, and that's the point, to feel like the forum is better and easier to be used. But the move is not mature enough to be made just yet. Compared to now, the new forum will be far more powerful and have a lot of implementations, such as:

1. Implemented SS calendar on the bottom of the page [Demon's day, void moon displayed, etc]
2. Current Planets and Moon
3. Ability to apply your own theme [we will have this theme here and a more modern theme. This one here will be the default and everyone will have this unless they willingly change over to a new theme. You will be able to apply another more "rich" theme in your User Control Settings]
4. A news-board of important links
5. Questions of new members requiring answers will have a central space so everyone gets answers.

etc etc.

Due to the situation of testing [unintended, it was believed it would all last around 1 hour maximum based on test runs already done, but life's life], a few comments were lost, and everything is how it was a few hours ago from now. This all has to happen to keep up with current trends, security, ease of access, and better features. This is because we want to put your experience first and give a better and more improved forum, without affecting anything that is presently working and is satisfactory.

We will also soon have a secondary [backup] forum, that will be exactly the same as this one, so in any case whatever happens [enemy or otherwise] there will be a second forum fully functional going for easy assembly there.

As always everyone will be inform on the new secondary forum and on the next official update. Of course, all the other websites are going and everything is now as before.

Forums are to be used in the usual fashion now, and apologies on inconvenience caused.
 
And here I thought there was some website hacking battle going on that I was being blissfully ignorant of.

Anyways, the new layout looks intriguing to say the least and I'm interested with whatever new features could potentially be applied in addition to what you've stated in the future.

Better security is always good.
 
That explains why I got an email from someone who was very excited about the new look, but when I came on, it was the exact same as before :lol: Looking forward to seeing the new update when it is implemented :)
 
The new UI was good and very mobile friendly, I also like this one. Those new customizations and other additions sound great. I’m sure they will try to Ddos and do other things to disrupt and possibly take down the forum like you said. Also because there have been lots of people coming here.
Also can anyone tell me how and why the old forum was taken down?
 
I didn't catch a glimpse of the "new features" but I hope they'll be implemented soon. I'd love to have the SS calendar ready to go on the forum plus this forum is in desperate need of a dark theme so they'll be welcome additions indeed.

The second theme will be a dark theme.
 
Kind of scared me there for a while, I woke up and tried to log on the forums but I kept getting the error 404 webpage does not exist issue. I thought the forums where attacked and taken down. Glad to see that it was only getting updates.

You scared me, Commander. I thought, what happened to JOS, then I saw proof of the upgrade. I liked most things, additional features, adding colors etc., but I didn't like the text editing, enlarged. Anyway, security comes first. Thank you.

I look most of the time at the forum on my I-phone 4s. Which is old and has a small screen.

The updated theme had a better printed letter font style. Which means the updated forum was easier to read because it had a little bit larger and bolder print.

But what I do a lot of the time is turn the phones screen from vertical, side ways to horizontal and it gives a doubling up of the print size.

Although the new theme will be easier to read. Maybe because of all the extra buttons added or something. What it wasn't doing was rotating and making the print larger when I rotated the phone to the side.

Otherwise that was a cracking new theme with a lot more functionality and nice and bright and easy to read.

See if I read nationalvanguard.org for example, it's easy to read because the letters are larger. This forum just has small letters for me with my tiny years old I - phone 4s.

What I experienced with the new forum theme not rotating might have been a momentary blip from my phones side as it has on the rare occasion acted up on me being so many years old.

Very nice fresh and modern theme that was. And easier to read with the bolder print font.

I saw it probably when you were starting to test the updates.. at first I got a notification saying that I had to log in with my account to view the forum due to forum maintenance (this was on my mobile phone) but I couldn't access it on the pc at that time.
Then later I checked again, just for updates, and I did see the new lay-out but the top picture wasn't there (speaking of, its not here right now either). and everything was still in shades of blue.

However the quotations in the post were grey and to be honest I prefer the blueish quotation background.

I wasn't logged in at the time. But like I said, you were probably still at the start of testing that out then, since it was quite late at night too.
 
Yeah i thought that someone was attacking the server,then i got in after 30 mins and it looked rly awesome! Thanks for your great work!

If you use chrome or a chromium based browser you can simply go to chrome store and download an extension called, Dark Reader.

Because a n00b who is trying to out the Joy of Satan Ministries reckons he/she/it took it down and was the reason for its closure. In real-life, however, the Joy of Satan is the actual, genuine, true Spiritual Satanic community and ministry and group of sites with information and help to:

  • actually rid this Planet of the infestation known as the jew and its anti-Human, anti-Spiritual, anti-Natural, anti-Scientific programmes of death and destruction - christianity, islam, capitalism, communism, etc.,
  • restore Satan as the actual God of Gods, with whichever Gods and Goddesses who want to/should/must also be here with us (there are some Gods/Goddesses who don't like us, but I've read that sometimes They still have duties to perform for us. That's fair enough that They don't want a part of us; it's Their life and They do what They want),
  • put Lord Hitler, whom the jew detests maybe only second after LORD Satan - not to mention also fears - on 'the throne' of World saviour, once He returns with Satan and some of the Gods and Goddesses,
  • restore the Planet to Her former glory of being National Socialist per-country/state,
  • improve Humans (non-jews) and teach them to advance and empower themselves, to stop us from relying on something else, especially a non-existent jewish entity, being a slave to that non-entity, and instead rely on ourselves and be Masters/Mistresses of our own lives, fates, destinies,
  • restore the Environment and Nature back to how it should be, and of course
  • join the interplanetary, interstellar, intergalactic war of Good versus Evil - "to improve Yourself and the Universe"

That's why the old forum died.

This individual was happy he/she/it "took down" the old forum, and is left feeling small now that we still had the Yahoo! Groups, until Yahoo! went yahoo-crazy, and feeling small now that we have this forum and feeling small that we've still had our sites up and running, albeit being attacked constantly. If it is "free speech" and "free expression", which is supposed to be "allowed" and "permitted" by jewnited nation shit (as if we need the jew's "permission") - and especially now, with the jew admitting things openly and not just slightly - then why must we be closed? This is the actual Satanic forum/group of sites/ministry/help/information, which is changing the World. While we might not be able to restore Phaeton, we can do something to...replace Her. The Moon is a (temporary?) replacement for Phaeton, and the Moon is important for our Spiritual advancement - opening/unblocking/empowering our Third Eye, which makes it so much more difficult for anyone to lie to us and decieve us. What do you think of a secured chat room for group RTR’s and to joke around with each other to add to this?
This would not be a chat room to seek spiritual advice as you would on the JoS forums or site.
This isn’t a place to plan an RTR schedule or go off the rails. This could be a place to do the daily RTR’s that we’d be doing together anyway, at the same time if others are online. This could also keep us motivated and on track. We could simply log on and say “who’s down for a hot RTR sesh?” and boom. It’s a party. Life is easier to keep up with when you’re having fun. We can also bullshit and get our minds off of things together. The same rules of the JoS forums would apply as well and emphasis on no promoting anything illegal and no explicit content.
 
I read the whole FAQ that was at the top of the new one. Looks like a lot of extra things, like ranks next to our names. Looks interesting.

But I was happy to see today that it is back to normal. I like the colors of this original version much more than the bright flashing blue next to every topic on the new version. Would there be a way to still see some new features, but have the colors look like the original version?

I have a question, I noticed after this downtime I can no longer see my user avatar. I see I am not the only one as many other users avatars are showing up blank. But I see some users still have theirs visible. Is this due to a browser issue on my part or a site issue? I am currently using a firefox browser.
 
Also, yours in an avatar I cannot see as well. I used to be able to see mine. Anyway it's not a complaint because I know how hard you are working on this! I just wanted to bring it to your attention :) Just in case I wasn't the only one with this issue.
 
There were no "ranks" or anything of the sort. Not sure where you even saw that. There was nothing and is nothing like this. Not sure what was left in the FAQ thing.

Colors will be basically as there may be included new alterations such as a color theme one can choose. It will be decided later.

Pretty sure it would still need moderation which makes pretty hard to do in real time. perhaps certain words that can be flagged or maybe extra mods but I doubt even few have the time, would be pretty cool though. :cool:

You mean on the current forum?

Yes, for security concerns, you can use avatars that you upload on the server side for now. Remotely linked avatars were removed. This will also ensure that your avatar will always be available. One's avatar if remotely linked can be lost if the picture hosting website deletes it. This way you'll have it as long as you want.

From the main menu, you have to scroll down and you will find more categories, then you have to enter the category according to your question and you will find a named button, new topic. After you put the title, under the title you have to write what interests you. Once you have published your new topic, you have to wait for the moderators to approve it if it is not illegal or trolling. Study the JOS site. ;)

That’s one of the kinks I was working over with the idea, I found a way to get it completely secure but it’s a little complex. Then there would be a lot of relying on others integrity. The bonus and down fall is that each person would need the chat room URL by email, if it was posted publicly it wouldn’t be secure, but then there wouldn’t be trolls let in to begin with... but then it’s too “private” so :?

Glad to see so many new people here. :) Easy way to post a new topic:
Click on the image on top of the page no matter what page you're on in the forum, scroll down to the forum names (find Joy of Satan in English, it should be the second one you see, and click the New Topic button to ask your questions.

As for the Satanic Rosary, for the very first one I made I used a rope (like 3-4 millimeters thick) and started making simple knots one close to the other until I got 9, then I made a thicker knot (like one knot on top of the other if you're unfamiliar with knots) for the affirmation part.

This is the 'poor DIY' way. Alternatively you can use stone beads with your favorite stone (NOT Tiger's Eye, in my opinion, as it tends to make you restless and scatter thoughts) or whatever beads you can find as long as the sizes are easy for your fingers to immediately understand what you're supposed to do, mantra or affirmation and so on.

This was taking a lot of time to learn development and I have no time due to other responsibilities. The app to this day remains half done so probably in the future it may be completed. I am very inundated with other things that are necessary and need to be done.

It's unfortunate to say but this will definitely have to wait possibly a long time.

What about updating the Sites? I remember HP Maxine saying how she has new information and the site needs to be updated but this was a year ago :|
I know you are all busy and I respect that as we are getting all of this for free so I'm not complaining I just honestly want to know if there is a possibility that it will come in this year or not.
 
There will be new implementations for user privacy on the forum. One such implementation that has happened is that all Youtube links will be replaced with Invidio.us links.

For example, when you post a youtube video, the link will be replaced with www.invidio.us video, which is exactly the same video.

For those who do not know of Invidio.us, you can find an example of a video here. This site also allows you to download the video. If you still want to watch in Youtube, you can press after you visit this site. "Go to Youtube". This should protect user privacy

This has been implemented now so everything you post will be automatically transformed into an Invidio.us link.
