Is Carnival a Satanic or Pagan Influenced Holiday?

I'm asking about it because I'm curious. Carnival has many variant, and the most notable ones are the ones of Venice and Rio. I was wondering if Carnival could be Pagan because I've read from many source that it derived from Ancient Roman Holidays.

Also, some of the figures of Carnival are masks such as Harlequin (Arlecchino), whose name is suggested to be a translation of "King Herla" or "Hell's King". He is also usually compared with Pagan Tricksters.

Any opinion in regard?

That's correct. The word "carne" (meat/flesh) is in the word itself. But there's no need to look too deep into it; The dances, cosplaying, and overall joy in the Carnivals can only be Pagan/Satanic. I couldn't imagine xians celebrating life in this way (or in any way).
