Mistakes to avoid when drinking water
___________
Water is essential for a good lifestyle, but when consumed incorrectly, it can harm the body and lead to some unwanted diseases.
____
1. Drink water when you standing
- Specialists recommend drinking water while sitting. When we drink it standing up, the kidneys are overworked. If we consume it sitting on a chair, the water can be filtered more easily by the kidneys and has a calming effect.
2. Consumption of 2 liters of water per day.
- It is an outdated myth promoted by many water producers. The reality is that you have to drink water when you are thirsty. Also, water consumption differs from person to person.
3. You drink water too fast
Drink the water slowly, in small sips. Experts say that this way, the digestion process will be much easier and the body will be more efficient in hydration. Drinking water too quickly will not hydrate and will not bring any benefit to the body.
4. One of the most common mistakes when it comes to hydration is drinking water during and immediately after a meal. It is very important to avoid drinking water during a meal, because it hinders the digestion process, by "diluting" acids and enzymes, which lead to the accumulation of toxins in the body. It is advisable to drink water 15 minutes after eating.
5. Drink water when exercising
Hydration is done before exerting effort to get as much energy as possible. If you drink water during training and not before, you may later experience acute migraines.

Go do some endurance sports without hydration for hours, or even for 60-90 minutes in some cases... First you'll get a headache, then your performance drops, and at the last loss of consciousness with some other possibilities before this as well. This will only increase risk on injury and in worst cases death from accidents.

Henu, here I was referring to light physical exercises, such as a warm-up or a 10-15 minute run. I wasn't referring to intense exercise.

Back in late-2018, early 2019 can't recall exactly but I know it was during the Spring about April.

I ran into Hindustan(India) blogs that mention wait times between meals. And while your 15 minutes was there, some stated 30-45 minutes, to an hour. And if you really want to digest fully properly wait at least 2 hours until drinking fluids.

Sounds extreme 2 hours and yeah I'll admit even a few times I have had scenarios of dying to drink water. But there seems to be a bit of Ayuverdic style drinking coming around and some people want to know this stuff.

I'm not sure how long or short 15 minutes is. For all intents and purposes maybe the act of waiting upwards of two hours is to allow the stomach to settle down and be in a relaxed state.

There is also the whole avoid drinking water before a meal within a 45 minute period. So if you eat dinner early maybe 5 or 6pm. Drink beforehand but not within 45 minutes to avoid diluting the acids and also providing a reduction in hunger to reduce eating. Might be a way of reducing meals and losing some weight but you should at least give your body 45 minutes to restrengthen the acid.
