The United National Independence Party (UNIP) is a political party in Zambia. It governed the country from 1964 to 1991 under the socialist presidency of Kenneth Kaunda, and which was the sole legal party between 1973 and 1990. It was a dictatorship and the first party to rule after the whites were forced out of the country. It is the only one with its ideologies in this country, I think and very well known. Still taught it highschool and sponsors African National Socialism.

I really love that I just found this out. More like rediscovered. I want to do everything I can to join this party.

You're going to have to take a look at Wikipedia before you say anything else.

Perhaps you need to understand more bro. Communism and Socialism are in part the same thing. So how can there be National Socialism even applied. Seriously Wikipedia sucks. It's got alot of misinformation mixed with 'some' truth.

No. Nationalism was all over this country's way to independence. It was the main thing. That Unip was a nationalist party doesn't surprise me. it was the first to be elected after the whites were forced out of the country. I definitely remember learning about nationalism in high school when the first party was formed. This party must must have changed it's name to unip. It was a feeling..blaha blah blah about ones nation. Nationalism
