what to do with this feeling

What to do with that thought/feeling when you broke up with your lover forever and then what if what if thoughts start popping up. 
I mean, what's the point of improving myself spiritually and becoming totally sane and master of my Destiny WHEN tomorrow I won't have the one I love so dearly ? Dearly I meant it, so dearly that you can't even live on your own without the one you love. I can't seem to carry on.

I too going through this, but my wife has been possessed by a Jezebel spirit, which I invited into our marriage when I was messing with magick last year.
I cut soul ties and meditate and it is getting better.
