'Welcoming' demon

This is a bit random but always intrigued me... Few days before I dedicated I had a 'Welcoming' demon come to visit me. It was brief. I felt their presence for maybe half an hour or so (this was 5 years ago) and I was talking to myself lol but I guess really I was talking to who ever it was. They were covered in a black cloak so I dunno who they are. I read once years ago in the old group that someone else had this after they dedicated and they actually spoke to him... Anyway down to business... Why did I and some people have this and others don't?

I had a voice in my head the night I dedicated right before I went to sleep, a very deep and kinda scary voice said welcome
It kinda freaked me out I now know it was my GD Andras saying welcome but at te time I had no clue lol
