First I laughed but then I took a second and realized how ridiculous the whole thing is. The vatican will launch a porn site. A PAID porn site. A paid porn site whose profits "will be used to reimburse losses by churches that have declared bankruptcy to eliminate their obligation to pay court judgements in sexual abuse cases" as the article states.
Let me get this straight: a religious institution will attempt to make money out of something the denounce in order to help it's branches recover financially from dodging responsibility on charges of felony. Felony which apparently is in their specific case is "sexual abuse".
To summarize the institution that promotes chastity will aid it's law dodging sexual predators through the lucrative medium of porn.
I'm officially pissed and feel like ripping the faces off the catholic clergy since every one of them seems to keep a spare around the house and are blatantly showing it.
