I also have a dumb question. On the squares, If you are on a sun square, started on the hour of the sun, kept doing the square every day but missed the hour of the sun a few times does that fuck up the square?

I know you start and finish the square on the sun but is every session also the hour of the sun?

It's ideal to do each square in it's hour because that's where the
energy are at the peak level.

It is said on JoS that, if you can't perform the square in the Sun hour for the subsequent days, you can do it as well as long as the first day is in the Sun Hour; personally I did the Sun square several time and it worked even if I missed the Sun hour on some days.
Of course is better to meditate every day in the Sun hour, if you are forced to miss it, go on in another hour!

What i wanted to mention here is not about your initial question since many people have already answered, but about that DUMB in your question. No question is dumb so please stop mentioning such things or you might end with problems your logical mind has not even imagined

My personal opinion (never tested before, beginning it in the wrong hour) is that it is going to work, but will be quite weaker than if you started in the Sun hour. I would not interrupt it if it's my last chanche before a new opportunity to do this. Maybe someone can clarify more deeply,

  It's not necessary. As long as you do it everyday you can do it at night too if you can't do it during the day.. I had to start the sun square on day of sun / hour of saturn .. will that work? Today was the last day to start it and I was away from home the whole day and the only appropriate hour was hour of saturn. Should I stop or continiue on?
