Questions about moderators/moderating

Zētētēs Lugh'Allein2 min to read

Is there a record kept, especially for new members, of how many posts are rejected, and the reason/s therefor? I have made some mistakes and understand I am "on probation" as a new member. If someone repeatedly posts things that violate moderation rules, can they be booted?

Also, I understand there is a fine line between judging what is a legitimate engagement, vs. being disrespectful. I know. I worked on contract as a F'book moderator and had to work not only with words, but images and videos. This was before AI and automated algos and there was a need for humans to moderate and go through materials. The trauma I had to endure from some of the pics I've seen, I don't want to get into that. As a f'book moderator, you have to zip through a ton of submissions and make production metrics, and I was on third party contract, so if you didn't make metrics, it was bye-bye job.. The sh-tuff people submit is unbelievable and includes all the disrespectful, vulgar and intolerable things one would expect pictures and video to contain. I get literally nauseous still just recalling some of it. With my work background, I should be ashamed of myself for my errors on here. I am sorry, I am learning from these mistakes.

So, I would appreciate a canonical (exhaustive) list of the possible violations. Maybe it's out there but I have not been able to find it, if it's there. Such a list would help me and others stick to the rules of respecting others.

I've been committing these mistakes and I apologize for that.

Hello brother, we are not facebook, we understand some people and especially new people could be very confused.

Bans only arrive for people that act like pests towards the Temple of Zeus - it seems to me you don't have any bad intention, so don't worry about it.

I am reaching towards a green apple.
