If you feel merged it was with something else, not one of the demons.
Wiccans do not have any real power. It is mostly just very sublimal.. that doesn't mean it doesn't work entirely.. it means it is very watered down.
Plus you could evict this thing and detach from this anyway.
Aura cleaning could be of importance as well.
