Since I was a kid I had a problem sitting with my legs crossed. It was just too painful and I wondered how the hell everyone else did it. Now I see how important it is to sit cross-legged as it creates a circuit of energy for meditation. I'm only 6 feet tall which is nothing compared to the Gods who are 8-13 feet who have not problem sitting this way.
Despite being grown up with this problem, is there a way in which to not make sitting this way painful? or is it a given?
Thanks in advance,
Hail SATAN!

Painful Problem
Yoga.
It isn't necessary to sit cross-legged to meditate. When energy flows through your legs and root chakras easily, your flexibility will probably eventually improve.

I have the opposite problem in that I have a nasty habit of crossing my legs. Not in a Yoga position, but just sitting with my legs crossed or even lying down on my back to read, watch TV, meditate ... Crossing your legs can interrupt the energy flow, and it's taken me quite a while to break this habit. In fact, it still surfaces from time to time. Yes, Yoga exercise will give you some flexibility.
