Night - A Poem for Lord Andrealphus
There's something left, from one of the nights,
From far, far away,
No one's ever heard of it,
Something no eye has ever seen,
A poet is calling me,
After a long and quiet day.
There's something left on a seashore,
Years of searching and not finding,
A book full of poetry,
And a letter with your name on it.
Look at the stars,
Look at the night,
And that same sincere smile was just as bright,
My soul was this dark.
One thing left, from one of the days,
Far away far away,
Where no one speaks,
Something no one wants.
Maybe tonight should end with poetry,
I'm going where the wind blows,
I don't know where my path leads,
Sometimes I think only of you,
Sometimes I just move on.
A path between two hearts.
Every moment of that dream was a paradise,
Each moment was blessed with a different wisdom,
You are the answer to all questions.
We'll write the most beautiful poems for you,
Because you create the most beautiful moments.
