I'm reading the book Iron shirt chi kung by Mantak chia and found some of what he says to be quite interesting. Are his teachings about chi legit?

I actually haven't done any yet. I was waiting for some input before I got started. I will try them, record my experiences in my book and post them here for those who are interested.
