How were the gos imprisoned

In HP Pythia's sermons it's stated that some demons were imprisoned and she and a couple of others freed them . My question is how were they imprisoned ? Were they somewhere on the astral plane or did they have physical bodies somewhere but their souls were separated?

I'm really curious and would appreciate an answer .

Why would we want to know how they were imprisoned? We should be happy they are free! The one thing that could be handy is how to free them if they are imprisoned again in a very grim future that i hope will never come .

I meant no disrespect , I'm just a curious person by nature and have a big imagination , often running through all the possible scenarios in my head. So I was wondering if I were to share the same fate as them what would happen to me and how I would be able to free myself ( I already know one and maybe the only possible method which was what HP Pythia described in her sermons ) .

I'd still appreciate and answer though
