Many men have hurt you, this is clear, but you must not lose your belief in love because of that. One needs to be able to program their aura according to what they want to attract and repel. You have to know yourself before you try to know another.

Yes, see, as for this part here, this part of the conversation is about maturety and refinement of ourselves. Men, we can handle the crass, the depraved, the brutal, because we where built to face these aspects of the world, women can too, but they are far more delicate and much more deeply affected psychologically by these things than we are. The older we get, the less we find humor in these things. It's all a matter of growth as a person. That's about all I could say that hasn't already been said.

How does one improve their humor in this way? Grow up. Engage in more intellectually stimulating materials, even through the actions of advancing the soul, one will find themselves less and less ammused by tasteless degeneracy, and more disgusted. Children and people with the minds of such are who find any value in cheap humor. Growth as a person is the only remedy for this.
