I'm thinking of invoking a demon to enter inside me, but I have this lingering fear of the masquerading angels who pretend to be demons, I don't want my spirit overtaken by these foul creatures. For those more experienced members, how do you side-step this issue?

With the summoning ritual on JoS one you don't have to worry about that at all. If you have noticed, in the ritual prayer we basically ask Satan to send that Demon to us. We go through Satan, not anyone else, nor do we ask that God directly. If you go to Satan there's no danger of invoking a false entity, you can't go wrong with Satan.

You shouldn't fear that. For as long a you began the ritual invoking the 4 crowned princes, their energy will be present, and a demon would most likely be watching over you and intervene in an emergency.
