hearing things

Last night I was trying to fall asleep but still awake and suddenly I heard a loud noise, it sounded like when you hit a drum stick to the side of a drum like the metal part. It was loud and I only heard it on my left ear which is my bad ear and I was laying on it. It was so loud I even moved my head to cover my ear on my shoulder. Could it be a noise from the astral? And why a bang? Why not a bell or music sound?

No idea.
I actually had sort of an experience like that.
I was relaxed in bed, about to fall asleep, when a real big woman kicked me in my face, and believe me, I felt it! haha
it came out of nowhere, i couldn't believe it, I not only could feel it, but its like it moved my face as well...

Hahaha! Sorry but I could really imagine someone getting kicked in the face by a big woman when their about to fall asleep.
