To each their own, I like variety. I like calm music as well.

@the_fire_starter That's a good point. I honestly had never read that by HP Pythia before. Either that or I forgot... :P I will definitely keep that in mind for the future. I've never been a fan of the screaming type music anyway, so thinking that type of music was "Satanic" was kinda disappointing for me, so thank you for enlightening me about that!! :)

That was my mistake, so I shall keep that in mind for the future

The only pure satanic music is gentile pagan tribal music. Everything else is just a branch from that tree. Pagan tribes utilized musical energy in many of their rituals, and each song was different and conveyed different emotions, whether they were whispering soft beautiful words or screaming angrily at the top of their lungs. Emotion is a powerful tool in any kind of working.

Certain musical styles convey certain emotions or set a particular atmosphere, but each style rings up different feelings in an individual person, its all perspective. I know people who say heavy metal helps them go to sleep. I could never fucking fall asleep to metal but hey, to each his own.

Try finding a certain musical style that helps in raising the emotion you want to feel. Someone in a similair thread mentioned Indian Traditional Raga music and its really helped me set the mood for my meditations. When i do the curse rituals i like listening to metal or industrial...this may not be everyone elses cup of tea, but thats okay. They have their ways, i have mine.

Yes i understand some people think screaming angry heavy music is Satanic but thats because theyre fucking idiots who dont understand and are afraid and ignorant of the certain emotion or feeling they get from it. Alot of those bands are screaming and howling for truth!!!

@talonjackman: But yeah, it's pretty common sense that screaming angry music is based in an enemy twisted version of Satanism if you are a Spiritual Satanist. Think about it, if you have read the site, would it make any sense to you that Satan would have that behavior that music represents all the time? Of course it would only make sense if you thought of Satan as an evil destructive monster who has nothing but hate for everything, like xians think he is. Or of Satanism as an evil human sacrificing thing. Which proves exactly what I said.
HP Pythia also mentioned the Devil's Trill sonata by Tartini which came directly by Satan to him. No screaming at all, just classical violin music.

Thanks for that link! :)

This is a pagan folk band I like:Valravn - Kroppar

Anyone tried listening folk/traditional music?  Experiment with it maybe? Not the original one as it can be boring to you at his point but something remix?

This is an interesting topic. I'd like to add my input on it:
As spiritual satanists, we know how to recognize when music is essentially Satanic and when it's not.
I think nowadays we can't be given one definite source for Satanic music. Many of us enjoy different music genres and unfortunately much of what we consider good music for us is influenced by the enemy. However, we can fine comb music and find a couple of individual Satanic tunes if we're willing to be that selective.

I am into rock/metal and *some* country music. Here's a couple of tunes I consider to be Satanic or to bring a truly spiritual message in terms of lyrics (and sound):

Slipknot - Gently
"Gently, my mind escapes into the relaxing mode of pleasure. A pleasure that will take my mind off the reality of my life. My past life
..life as I know it now. And whatever may come, it slowly disappears to somewhere in the back of my mind. It will remain there till I wish to retrieve it"
Tell me if that doesn't sound like instructions for meditation/emptying the mind for meditation.

System Of A Down - Innervision
"My pupils dance, lost in a trance. Your sacred silence, losing all violence. Stars in their place, slowing your pace. I need your guidance, I need to seek my Innervision"

Aerials, also by System Of A Down, has a penetrating introduction which inspires a meditative state in me. And part of the lyrics say:
"Aerials, so up high. When you lose small mind you free your life. Aerials, in the sky. When you free your eyes, eternal prize"

There is also a band called Ensiferum whose songs are inspired in mediaeval themes. They have songs like In My Sword I Trust ("rise my brothers, we are blessed by steel. In my sword I trust") and Star Queen (this title reminds me of Astaroth)

I play a couple of instruments, sing and have played in bands before. I have a couple ideas for beautiful pure Satanic tunes as well, which I hope see the light of day any time.

Hail Amdusias, our musician God
Hail Satan!!!

Also, one personal inspiring tune for me is Jumpdafuckup by Soulfly. Not only this song gives me a rush of energy when it plays, its lyrics are also inspiring in spiritual warfare for me

"All I really wanna know is,
Are you gonna lay the fuck back down, or jump the fuck up?
Walking in the streets and looking all this shit
I'm full of hate, don't fuck with me
Walking in the streets and looking all this shit
Open up your eyes and fucking see
we've got to tribe against society
We've got to fight the real enemy
Get the fuck up. Stand the fuck up. Back the fuck up"

The bands SepticFlesh, Gojira and Amon Amarth also have spiritual/pagan lyrics ^_^ they also sound amazing!

Also about Ensiferum, I didn't know the video for In My Sword I Trust. However I watched it after reading your message and in fact there are xian subliminals right in the first part of the video. I wasn't aware of this :/ I don't see any subliminals in most part of the lyrics though, except for this bit near the ending which I wasn't aware of either and found it to be rather suspect:
"Cling your souls to your gods
Kneel, obey, follow their laws
Deceit, subjugate, cherish their greed
Disdain verity, glorify futile faith"

#43

Damn, one message went through before the other...

#45

And I don't know if that was clear in my message but what I said applies to individual songs with no subliminals in them. Like the main songs I mentioned, Gently and Innervision. I don't see any evident subliminals in them. The others I mentioned were just observations about particular bits of the lyrics.
I totally agree with what you said about songs that mix "satanic" themes with subliminals to lure people into their shit, like this video, and this is the kind of song I have the instinct to turn away from when I am aware of it and I believe every true satanist has the same instinct.

Also, thank you for pointing out about Ensiferum

@descipleofthegods13 Well actually, the guy I mentioned who made Slipknot is not the lead singer. He is one of their two percussionists, Shawn Crahan, the "clown". It is a common thing to think of the lead singer of a band as the leader/manager of it, but this is not so in that case. But well yes, with the exception of what you said about him having made Slipknot entirely on his own you had the right idea anyway. Clown is a rather greedy guy and makes exaggerated marketing about the band.

As for the rest of what you said, I have absolutely no points to disagree. What I said about our HPs sources was just an analogy as to how we can filter our sources in order to get the purest out of it though.

I was also almost driven to insanity by such bands when I grew up. I knew Slipknot when I was 10 to 11 and although this is one of the things that had played a role in turning me away from xian "devotion" (although I didn't have a real devotion to it after all), it gave me the wrong idea about a lot of things at first. That was a phase of xian rebellion. Other bands like Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir and Marduk had also messed up my ideas during that period.
I have dropped a big deal of the music I used to listen to. Not only because of their twisted ideas but also because most of them easily became boring to listen to over the time anyway, specially traditional black metal.

There are also no lyrics whatsoever in the Verstecktengang album... so the only thing that could be hurting your mind is the actual music.

I am actually the person who created Magnum Illud Sacramentum in Tutankhamen from scratch.. I have had a bit of a "relationship" with Amdusias for years and since then I have gotten to virtuoso level on drums, guitar and piano and can also play cello, flute, fife, tabla, bass and upright,  and some other instruments at an intermediate level. I learned to do this with hard dedication all the years I was caged in lies. All my music, and if you read the song titles up until this new album, have been about discovering the truth and having the strength and passion to do so.  I wrote and recorded everything all by myself and I am pretty young. This music helps me be strong and there's nothing wrong with it, as you see all different kinds of music have xian influence. Jazz, rock, metal, pop, classical, whatever. Metal is pretty Satanic. Take the band Emperor for instance; sure they don't "get" what Satan is all about, but they really want to. You can hear how much they revere Him in "Inno a Satana". To me, listening to this music is like listening to the Satanic passion that lives inside gentiles, and the longing I felt before I understood Satan. As well, when I listen to my track "Enki's Dream" for instance, it sometimes causes a spiritual effect on me and I see light. It doesn't bring about any negative feelings whatsoever, it makes me feel like an adventurer. Pythia listened to extreme metal before coming to Satan, and I don't see why she wouldn't now. But its really up to everybody to listen to what they want because while someone might get a headache listening to my music, I get a literal headache listening to dance music and soft pop. My music isn't very popular because I do it for myself to stay strong.
